R.W. Holmes, one of the largest commercial brokerage firms serving tenants and landlords across Massachusetts for more than 45 years, today announced that it recently brokered the sale of 1 Rounder Way in Burlington, MA, for $8.8 million.
Elizabeth Holmes, Director of Corporate Services at R.W. Holmes, and Dean Blackey, Managing Director at R.W. Holmes, represented the buyer, ACCO Properties, LLC, in the transaction. The seller, Patriot Energy, was represented by Marci Alvarado, Senior Advisor at SVN Parsons Commercial Group Boston.
The two-story, 40,000 SF office building is located on a 3-acre lot. Strategically situated on Route 128 and across from Burlington Mall, the building can be converted into lab space and can be expanded up to 65,000 SF.
ACCO Properties is reviewing investment strategies for the property, focusing on converting to a lab and potentially expanding the property for the future use of one of their startups currently located in Waltham.
