Exponent Constructing New $23.5M East Coast HQ

California based engineering and scientific consulting firm Exponent (NASDAQ: EXPO) has had an office in Natick for 20 years and is about to largely expand it’s presence in the town. The company is currently constructing a brand new, state-of-the-art 65,000 SF office/lab building located at 1075 Worcester Street. The lot is on the westbound side of Route 9 and has beautiful views of Lake Cochituate.

Exponent will move all of it’s employees currently working in it’s existing Natick and Maynard MA offices into the new location when it is completed in about a year. Additional staff will subsequently be added over time until the total number of employees at 1075 is around 200.

This expansion promises to add over 100 additional science and engineering jobs in Natick. Meanwhile the town also benefits from the commercial tax revenue that comes with new 65,000 SF building.

Garry Holmes of R.W. Holmes represented Exponent and is the exclusive listing agent for the 29,500 SF of expansion space at 1075 Worcester Street that will not be occupied by Exponent.
