Central Location

The city of Marlborough is in eastern Massachusetts and bordered by six towns: Hudson to the north, Sudbury and Framingham to the east, Southborough to the south, and Northborough and Berlin to the west. The city is a total of 22.2 square miles (1.1 of that consisting of water) and is crossed by Interstate 495, Route 20, and Route 85. The eastern terminus of Interstate 290 is also in Marlborough.

The Metrowest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) bus service runs through town and serves the entire Metrowest area so there is a consist influx of tourism and shoppers each day. The Peter Pan bus also offers rides to and from Boston twice daily.

Marlborough Community and Culture

The small city of Marlborough is an active community that shares a definitive culture of peace and prosperity. It’s a place where children ride their bikes on the sidewalks and the neighbors look out for them. The people are hard-working and they work together well.

The city of Marlborough is drained by the Assabet River and has three large lakes: Lake Williams, Millham Reservoir, and Fort Meadow Reservoir. It has a multitude of public and private schools as well as a Boys & Girls Club after school program. There is a fruitful and active economy of working class citizens.

With easy access to major highways and pro-development/pro-business policies enforced by the local government, the city is a prime location to lease or buy commercial property. Currently, the population is swiftly on the rise with the biotech and healthcare industry providing much of the local growth in recent years including Boston Scientific, Sunovion and General Electric.
