Building Company Culture: RW Holmes Explores Nashville

In celebration of another great year, the brokers of R.W. Holmes spent the weekend in Nashville, TN on a market tour and team bonding outing.  These trips celebrating a successful year began under our founder, Robert Holmes, and provide the brokers with real estate knowledge outside their territory while also increasing team collaboration.

On this particular outing, R.W. Holmes had the unique opportunity to meet with esteemed real estate developer Barry Smith from Eakin Partners, who is one of the first and largest developers in the growing city.  Starting with a market overview, our brokers got insight into the exponential growth Nashville has seen over the past 5-10 years, the permitting and construction process, and the tenant mix.  The brokers were then treated to a private tour of one of the newest buildings developed by Eakin Partners.  The tenant mix was not only impressive due to name recognition, but also for their creative and forward-thinking space designs.

Other highlights of the company outing included a tour of the 6 million square foot Nissan manufacturing plant, providing a first-hand look into the most efficient car manufacturing plant in the world, and a day of local sightseeing featuring the Grand Ole Opry, Grand Ole Opry Hotel, Broadway Street, Johnny Cash Museum, and much more.
