BOSTON—Is there a manufacturing space crunch in Massachusetts? If you’re thinking about your current or future manufacturing space, where and when to start? If you’re an office landlord, should you explore manufacturing options while the market is still hot? These questions are on everyone’s mind in the commercial real estate industry today.

In an exclusive video interview with Boston Real Estate Times, R. W. Holmes Managing Director Dean Blackey answers some of these questions.

Mr. Blackey joined R. W. Holmes in 1999. His expertise encompasses all areas of real estate activity, including advising tenants and landlords in lease negotiations and asset acquisition and disposition for both owner/users and investors.

Mr. Blackey has successfully represented over 500 of suburban Boston’s prominent businesses, and he currently represents over two million square feet of office and industrial assets in and around Central Route 128. He is an expert in owner-occupant sales, many of which never hit the market.

He is a graduate of Bates College and serves on several boards, including the Board of Directors of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce.
