R.W. Holmes Featured In The Real Reporter For $7.1M Sale

978-Worcester-Side-Wellsley-300x225We were honored to be featured in a prominent article in the most recent issue of The Real Reporter, a magazine focusing on commercial and industrial real estate in Eastern Massachusetts. The piece by Joe Clements discussed the sale of 978-980 Worcester Street in Wellesley, a 24,575 SF mixed use office and retail property. The four-year-old property belonged to East West Bank, who reclaimed the asset last year.

“They didn’t think they would get anywhere near that price, and we just said, ‘Stick with us and it can happen,’” R.W. Holmes VP Craig Johnston told The Real Reporter. “It just shows what you can accomplish when you know the market and you know the players.”

In addition to the building itself, the 2.3 acre parcel of land offers the ability to construct 36 multi-family units on a back corner. “That’s incredibly valuable,” Johnston added in the piece.
