Knowledge Park Sees Activity During COVID Period
Leasing activity remains strong at Knowledge Park in Marlborough. CB Equities and R.W. Holmes executed a lease with a new tenant, and saw several other companies renew/expand within the park. Expertek Systems leased 3,300 in 4 Knowledge Park. This deal was represented by Garret Quinn of SVN. R.W. Holmes also negotiated lease renewals with RE/MAX and Boston Byte. Additionally, Northern Benefits Management has also expanded and extended the term of their lease at Knowledge Park.
“Companies are looking for safe, clean atmospheres for their employees to return to the office,” said Principal of Property Management Bob Macnamara. “We have taken additional steps to open our Club Room and Starbucks Coffee Station, patio, and community conference rooms affording employees the opportunity to feel comfortable with plenty of open space and additional high touch cleaning.” John Conley, co-owner of CB Equities, added “We set up Knowledge Park for flexibility, and we are able to work with all tenant sizes as their needs change.”
While most parks seem to be quiet, Knowledge Park has kept busy in each of its 3 buildings. “The activity level of employees coming and going has seemed to increase weekly,” said Jim Bartholomew of R.W. Holmes. “In comparison to other properties around, Knowledge Park has shown a solid vibrancy.
